So...It's been awhile. 

One of my very first projects at Otis was to create an avatar and level it up throughout the semester. The idea was based on dragon fruit and the leaves were to resemble seaweed.

Off to School

 I start Otis College of Art and Design today! Let's see how my day goes~

I tried painting a style I thought could go well with a children's book- just for fun.

Virtual Plein Air

I found this super fun to practice and experiment with! I found painting techniques I did that I liked. I still have trouble with color (and perspective) so it's a good thing I'm practicing with the basics too. Here's the link to the place I "visited". :)

Fontana

Sketches I did during my train ride to Fontana and my hike there. These were fun to draw and really relaxing. More to come!

Faun

Here's a preview of what I've been working on! The first day of summer will be here on Saturday, so I thought I would paint a theme for spring.

Sketch

A bit late, but I sketched a friend on Monday. I recently finished my red moleskine sketchbook - a dear friend of mine gave me- and drew in a new one. I'm going to finish it next month! 

Cockatiel

Nikki! She's an awesome Cockatiel I met at a friend's house. I love how these parrots have pink reddish cheeks as if they're blushing.  

Journey

I painted and crafted a small origami character from Journey, an indie game. My sister showed me The Art of Journey and the environments and characters are beautifully made.

Edit: I felt there was something wrong with the painting's composition on the left. I decided to fix it.

As promised, here is the final version I decided to stick with. I had so many more ideas, but I'll save them for later. 

Figure Drawing

Figure drawing class I did about four weeks ago. They were drawn on 18 x 24 Newsprint paper. I used them, along with many other artworks, for my Otis and Sheridan entrance portfolio.

Here is Puff again! He was biting my sash from my robe so I promised him he can keep biting it if I were to sketch him. It worked! (My scanner made my drawing very light.)

Flamboyant Dog

Here's a photo of a watercolor based off my dog Abby. She's going to be ten this year in July. She's old and yet she still acts young and hip.

Twin Neighbors

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!! I've been wanting to paint some fish lately. I hope you like them! :)

Since it fits today's occasion, I added a painting I did as a wedding present for my friend Justine. 

Mini Comic

Little scraps of paper I didn't need turned into a mini comic.

This is an owl I was supposed to post and work on in January, but due to being sick, I haven't begun my personal project. I tested out the colors and liked how it looked for now.
