This cool guy at IndieCade was dressed in a mini version of a classic arcade machine. On it was his iPad where he displayed his game "Zombie Match Defense". 

I ended up talking with him for a bit while I played it. It took him nine months to make it! It was pretty fun! Can't wait to play it again!

Day15: Amulet

I looked up "amulet", to start off an idea and got: 

"An ornament or small piece of jewelry thought to give protection against evil, danger, or disease."

So here's Knightly Amulet! 

Mr. Fluff

A group project for school involving a bear and a tea party. 

Above is something I drew, though I will still "flesh" out the character more.

We still need to add in some props and define the story more.

Today I wanted to combine "Drawlloween" with "Inktober".

Weekly Challenge

Here's a piece I submitted to a weekly art challenge on tumblr. I remembered "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" children's book I loved (and still do) and wanted to make something of it. 

Ferris Wheel

I finished a 3D puzzle of a Ferris Wheel! The extremely small pieces gave me a headache and with very little force, one of the carriages broke off. So I created an "Out of Order" sign. With this, it made it feel like my own and not something from an instruction manual. :)

Getting Better!

One of the Homework assignments I did for class. I'm getting better in painting with gouache! :)
Let's hope I didn't jinx it!

It's been so long! Above are a few gouache studies from my Saturday class taught by Andrew Hem- he's amazing! The class is a challenge and I have a long way to go.
