A Glowing Curiosity

I thought I uploaded this awhile ago, but I may have accidentally deleted it. Sorry about that! So here's an old panel I did for one of my classes. It was a story idea I thought of, a rather simple one. Since it ended up being a grouped project, the story changed and so did my characters. The main idea stayed: A frog tries catching a firefly.

Puff

Cat-sit

I'm cat sitting this weekend. I have to say, but I understand dogs more than cats. Puff - a fluffy grey cat- is an unusual character.

Another Practice

 A boy opens the front door to a sound from outside.

Another Sleepy Hollow quick color study! For practice purposes, I changed the colors to a brighter one (the top image) since I wanted to change the overall setting.

Old Memories

Day 10 of Inktober is here!!
I wanted to own a Vespa Scooter when I was younger. I then discovered their lack of umbrellas, heaters and air conditioning for rain and weather. The silly thing was, I changed to wanting a very large dog to ride on.

Color Practice

I finally got around to watching the new Fox show "Sleepy Hollow". I decided to color a few of my favorite shots to practice with color and painting digitally. I also timed myself and my favorite one I did is the post-it note on the coffee machine. Hope you like it!

Inktober

Here is my first ink drawing for the Inktober daily challenge. It's fun and I can't wait to draw more!!

Gouache Painting

Figure Painting! The workshop focused on color-my weakest point- and the poses were long, which is also something I'm not used to. I chose the ones I liked best, but I must practice more!

Figure Drawing

Figure Drawing I did two days ago. The model was amazing! I've been wanting to draw him for awhile since I've seen some amazing poses from Otis' student drawings.

The top two is the same pose, I just used marker for the first minute or so just to get the feel of it. (I had to add the heart.) 

Raccoon

A raccoon I drew inspired by Carter Goodrich's drawings I saw in The Art of Ratatouille book.
